With that being said, we're open to working on small-scale and large-scale playground projects anywhere and with any goal in mind.
Please note that we only install Huck Play equipment, and as such, we're unable to install playground equipment purchased from other manufacturers.
The Cost of Playground Installation
Cost is a huge factor in planning your playground project, and each project will be unique depending on the area you're working with, the equipment you want, and any obstacles that may hinder the installation process.
At Huck Play, we provide all prospective clients with a no-obligation quote for their proposed projects. In order to provide an accurate quote for your playground design, our installation experts carry out a site survey to identify any land issues or obstacles.
This is included as part of our standard planning process and makes up the first step in our end-to-end service.
Process of Playground Installation
Our process of playground installation is incredibly simple and straightforward, ensuring that your project is completed efficiently and to the highest quality.
Once you have received your quote and given us the go-ahead, our team will schedule a convenient date for installation.
Our team of expert playground installers will be on-site and start by marking out the play area to ensure a perfect fit before getting started. We'll take care of all the necessary excavations for equipment and surfacing elements.
Once that's done, we'll begin assembling each structure and, if needed, do some concreting for the main masts and anchor points. The remaining concreting and surfacing elements will then come together, giving shape to the play area.
Finally, we'll hang all the fun stuff like rope assemblies, Bird's Nests®, scramble nets, tunnels, and bridges. Our team will make sure everything is securely in place and double-check to meet any additional requirements you may have.
What Happens After the Playground Equipment is Installed?
Once your playground equipment has been installed, our installers will provide you or the appropriate authorities with a maintenance schedule specifically designed for our in-house manufactured equipment.
Our maintenance schedules provide guidance on how often our playground equipment should be inspected and how to effectively carry out the inspections to ensure your equipment is well-maintained and safe for children to use.

Weekly Inspection: Checking for any recent vandalism, identifying any defects or missing parts, and checking the basic condition of the equipment.

Monthly Inspection: Maintaining vandalism checks, identifying wear and tear signs, checking for any loose fastenings or missing screws.

Annual Inspection: Major and minor wear and tear signs, structural and surface integrity checks, testing all vital components (swings, slides etc), compliance with EN1176 requirements, risk assessment and health and safety regulations.

Broadwindsor Playground Case Study
Our Broadwindsor Play Area case study is a great example of why we're one of the best in the business.
For this playground project, we came up against a few bumps in the road, but we didn't let that stop us. From the initial site survey, we noted that the land was very uneven, with lots of slopes and bumps that would make planning the layout even more important.
On top of that, there were a number of protected trees that surrounded the site, as well as non-recorded drains that forced a redesign halfway through the installation. And, of course, the downpours the British weather gave our installation team didn't help!
But, we were determined to make this project a success. Our design team and installation crew worked hard and pivoted to get the job done.
